On the Social Weekend of 15th July the reservoir was about 3.2m below full. Heavy rain since then, and especially on 23rd July, has seen the level rise to 1.24m below full on 27th July. A 2 metre rise in just 12 days is quite impressive and certainly not the mark of an average Summer! The flagstones on the left of the cobbled road are now nicely submerged and 'the island' is an island once again. It all bodes very well for the rest of the year!
